Countable noun yaitu kata benda yang dapat dihitung.

Contoh : book, computer, apple, student, teachers, rulers etc.

Uncountable nouns yaitu kata benda yang tidak dapat dihitung.

Contoh: bread, water, sugar, sand, ink, coffee, money etc.

Singular noun : benda tunggal

Contoh : a book, an egg, a tiger, one ruler, one pencil.

Plural noun : benda jamak(lebih dari satu)

Contoh : two durians, seven, ducks, many lions, etc

Catatan :

Plural nouns biasanya ditambah s/es

contoh : boy – boys, door – doors, cat – cats, etc.

Pengecualian:

Contoh : man – men, child – children, woman – women, fish – fish, mouse – mice, etc.
